Definition of 고IgE증후군 in the Korean dictionary
High IgE syndrome Syndrome characterized by elevated serum IgE, atopic dermatitis, repeated infections of staphylococci, and decreased neutrophil migration (decreased neutrophil migration). It is said to be inherited by autosomal recessive disorder, and more than half of them occur in children under one year of age. Clinical symptoms are chronic and repetitive infectious diseases such as dermatitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, lung abscess, otitis media and pharyngitis, and it is good to treat infectious antibiotics early enough. Antifungal agents are also needed because of the high incidence of Candida infection. Complications with bronchial asthma are rarely seen. 고IgE증후군 혈청 IgE의 높은 수치, 아토피성피부염, 포도상구균의 반복감염, 호중구유주능저하(호中球遊走能低下)를 특징으로 하는 증후군. 상염색체열성으로 유전한다고 하며 반수 이상은 1세 미만에서 발생한다. 임상 증상은 피부염, 기관지염, 폐렴, 폐농양, 중이염, 인두염 등의 만성ㆍ반복성의 감염증이고 감염성이 높은 항생물질을 조기에 충분히 투여해서 치료하면 좋다. 또 칸디다 감염의 빈도가 높기 때문에 항진균제도 필요하다. 한편 기관지천식과의 합병증은 거의 볼 수 없다.
