In the upper part of the scapular pole (scapula spine), a line is drawn to the middle point from the inner edge of the scapula to the tip of the scapula, and the angle of the outer square is divided into two halves, and the needle is inserted vertically into the skin at 2.5 cm in the straight line. After confirming that the tip of the needle touches the scapula, 5 ~ 10 ml of topical anesthetic is injected.

견갑상신경블록 견갑상절흔부(肩甲上切痕部)에서 견갑상신경을 차단하는 방법이다. 견관절 주위의 통증치료에 사용한다. 방법은 환자를 앉은 자세로하고 두손은 무릎위에 놓는다. 견갑골극(肩甲骨棘)의 상연에서 견갑골내연으로부터 극선단까지의 가운데 점에 선을 긋고 외측사방의 각을 2등분해 그 선상 교정에서 2.5㎝인 곳의 피부에 수직으로 침을 찔러 넣는다. 견갑절흔부에 바늘 끝이 닿은 것을 확인한 다음 국소마취약을 5~10㎖ 주입한다.
