Antiviral Antibody An antibody produced when a virus is infected or when a virus antigen (antigen) is inoculated as a vaccine. Approximately 350 viruses are known, but in most cases there is an antigen that is specific for each virus. Moreover, one virus particle (particle) often has multiple antigenicity (antigenicity). The presence or absence of a viral infection is used to diagnose the presence or absence of a viral antibody or the variation of the antibody. Antibody assays include neutralization, red cell aggregation inhibition (HI), complement (CF), coagulation, sedimentation, and indirect hemagglutination. HI or CF reactions are commonly used . Recently, the immunosuppression method has also been used. 항바이러스항체 바이러스가 감염된 경우 또는 백신으로서 바이러스항원(抗原)을 접종한 경우에 생산되는 항체(抗體). 약 350종의 바이러스가 알려져 있으나 대개의 경우 각각의 바이러스에 특이적(特異的)인 항원이 있다. 더우기 하나의 바이러스입자(粒子)는 복수의 항원성(抗原性)을 가지고 있는 일이 많다. 바이러스감염병의 유무를 바이러스항체의 유무 또는 그 항체가의 변동으로 진단하는데 사용된다. 항체측정법으로는 중화시험, 적혈구응집억제시험(HI반응), 보체결합반응(CF반응), 응집반응, 침강반응, 간접적 혈구응집반응이 사용되는데, 일반적으로는 HI반응 또는 CF반응이 흔히 사용된다. 최근 면역억제법도 사용되기에 이르렀다.
