Land Steiner Pathology, serology and immunology in Austria. After graduating from the University of Vienna, he studied chemistry, pathology, pathophysiology, and became a professor of pathology at the University of Vienna in 1911. In 1922, he became a wish of the Rockefeller Institute and naturalized to the United States. He discovered ABO blood type in 1900, made great progress in transfusion, and won the 1930 Nobel Prize in Physiology. In 1927 he published the MN type blood type and in 1940 discovered the Rh factor. Not only blood transfusion but also the value of forensic medicine use is great. 란드스타이너 오스트리아의 병리학, 혈청학, 면역학자. 빈대학을 졸업하고 나서 화학, 병리학, 병태생리학 등을 연구하고 1911년에 빈대학의 병리학 교수가 되었다. 1922년에 록페라연구소의 소원이 되어, 미국으로 귀화했다. 1900년에 ABO식 혈액형을 발견해서 수혈실시에 커다란 진보를 가져왔으며, 이로서 1930년 노벨 생리의학상을 수상했다. 1927년에 MN식 혈액형을 발표하고 1940 년 Rh인자를 발견했다. 수혈만이 아닌 법의학방면의 이용가치도 크다.
