Montmorillonite It is a monoclinic minerals and a kind of clay minerals. Stiffness is 1 ~ 1.5, specific gravity is 2 ~ 1.5, white, gray, light pink, blue, green. It absorbs moisture and has a property of increasing the volume by 7 to 10 times, and has high ion exchange property. It has a caustic force at a water content of 150% ~ 500% and a low internal friction resistance. It is produced by alteration of rocks or minerals rich in aluminum. 몬모릴로나이트
단사정계의 광물로 점토광물의 일종이다. 굳기는 1~1.5, 비중은 2~1.5, 백색, 회색, 담홍색, 청색, 녹색을 띤다. 수분을 흡수하여 7~10배 부피가 증가하는 성질이 있으며, 이온 교환성이 높다. 150%~500%의 함수량에서 잠착력이 있고, 내부마찰저항이 작은 특징을 갖는다. 알로미늄이 풍부한 광물이나 암석의 변질로 생성된다.
