Definition of 판테테인 in the Korean dictionary
SH group at the end of the pantotheine (pantotheine). Refers to an oxidized form (oxidized form) in which two molecules are oxidized and S-S bonded. It is colorless or pale yellow sugar, but it is hardly soluble in organic solvents such as ether and acetone, and is neutral and bitter in water and low-grade alcohol. It is used for the prevention and treatment of pantothenic acid deficiency. 판테테인 판토테인(pantotheine, pantetheine)의 말단의 SH기(基). 산화되어서 2분자가 S-S결합한 산화형(酸化型)을 말한다. 무색 또는 담황색의 엿과 같은 물질인데 물이나 저급(低級)알코올에 이용(易溶), 에테르, 아세톤 등 유기용매(有機溶媒)에 난용(難溶)하며 수용액은 중성이고 쓴맛이 있다. 판토텐산결핍증의 예방 및 치료에 사용되고 있다.
