ferrite Is a solid solution in which an alloy element or an impurity is dissolved in iron of body-centered cubic crystal stable at 900 DEG C or less. As a metallurgical term for steel, since it is a solid solution based on α iron, its appearance is the same as that of pure iron, but it is also called silicon ferrite or silicon iron with the name of the solid element. Microscopically, it is a single phase, mixed with a white part of ferrite and a black part of pearlite that have a little carbon. 페라이트
900℃ 이하에서 안정한 체심입방결정(體心立方結晶)의 철에 합금원소 또는 불순물이 녹아서 된 고용체(固溶體)이다. 철강의 금속조직학상의 용어로서, α철을 바탕으로 한 고용체이므로, 외관은 순철과 같으나, 고용된 원소의 이름을 붙여 실리콘 페라이트 또는 규소철이라고도 한다. 현미경으로 보면 단상(單相)이며, 탄소가 조금 녹아 있는 페라이트의 흰 부분과 펄라이트의 검게 보이는 부분이 섞여 나타난다.
