Definition of 소안구증 in the Korean dictionary
It is collectively referred to as eyeballs that are smaller than normal due to development of eyeballs (eye embryogenesis) after development, and developmental abnormalities. Therefore, it is divided into three types: normal micropthalmos (nanophthalmos) which is normal and small in size, colobomatous microphthalmos accompanied by ocular tissue defect due to obstruction of the first born, and complicated microphthalmos according to developmental abnormality. Complications include cataract, glaucoma, iris deficiency, polydactyly, ligamentosis, cystic necrosis and lupus. There is a lot of recessive inheritance and rarely dominant inheritance type. 소안구증 안배형성(眼胚형성) 이후의 발생, 발육이상에 따른 정상보다 작은 안구를 총칭한다. 따라서 조직학적으로는 정상이고, 크기만 작은 pur microphthalmos(nanophthalmos), 1차 안배, 태생기의 폐쇄이상에 따른 안조직 결손을 수반하는 colobomatous microphthalmos 것과 발육이상에 따른 complicated microphthalmos의 3가지로 나뉘어진다. 합병증으로서 백내장, 녹내장, 홍채결손, 다지증(多指症), 합지증(合指症), 낭포성신증, 언청이 등이 있다. 열성유전이 많고 드물게 우성유전 형식이 있다.
