Small bowel polyps Clinically refers to a bulging lesion in the small intestine. There is a single polyp and multiple polyps, and it is commonly known as polyposis that many polyps are making a wide range of flocks. It is the most frequent disease in benign tumors of the small intestine in comparison with gastric, colon and rectal polyps. Asymptomatic as long as it does not cause complications, it can lead to malignant changes, and it can cause intestinal obstruction, intestinal hypertrophy, or bleeding due to the increase of the kind. 소장폴립 임상적으로는 소장에 생기는 융기성 병변을 가리킨다. 단발성 폴립과 다발성 폴립이 있으며 많은 폴립이 광범위하게 무리를 만들고 있는 것을 일반적으로 폴리포시스라고 한다. 위ㆍ결장, 직장 폴립에 비해서 드문데 소장의 양성종양에서는 가장 빈도가 높은 질환으로 되어 있다. 합병증을 일으키지 않는 한 무증상인데 악성변화를 가져오는 수가 있고 또 종류의 증대에 따른 장폐색, 장중적증(腸重積症), 출혈을 일으키는 수가 있다.
