Wintel is a compound word of Microsoft Windows Windows and Intel Intel. This term refers to the Intel x86 architecture and Windows occupying most of the PC market. In the marketplace, it is often used critically for market-exclusive combinations. Not being in the category of Wintel is a personal computer that does not use the Windows operating system, such as a PC using Apple's open source software such as Linux or Apple's computer, and a computer using a CPU made by a manufacturer other than Intel Can be.
