Mhsa is an ancient village in Murbad taluka of Thane district. 42 km from Karjat and 10 kilometers from Murbad is the ancient temple of Mhasoba in this village, the name of the town is called Mawsa. The famous Mhasoba tour, which is famous for its shopping and sale, is famous for about two and a half years. There is a lot of trouble in buying cattle. It travels around ten days from the full moon day to the temple.

म्हसा हे ठाणे जिल्ह्याच्या मुरबाड तालुक्यातील प्राचीन गाव आहे. कर्जतपासून ४२ कि.मी तर मुरबाडपासून १० किलोमीटर अंतरावर असलेल्या या गावात म्हसोबाचे प्राचीन मंदीर आहे, या मंदीरावरून गावास म्हसा हे नाव पडले. येथील सुमारे अडीचशे वर्षांची परंपरा असलेली गुरांच्या खरेदी-विक्रीसाठी प्रसिद्ध असलेली म्हसोबाची यात्रा प्रसिद्ध आहे. गुरे खरेदीसाठी येथे तुंबळ गर्दी असते. पौष पौर्णिमेपासून मंदिराच्या सभोवती दहा दिवस ही यात्रा भरते.
