Biology / بيولوݢي is a scientific study of life. Biology studies the structure, function, growth, origin, evolution and distribution of living things. This field classifies and describes the organisms, their function, the way and the cause of the species exist, as well as the interactions between them and the environment. Biology focuses on the physical and living features of living today and in the past, how they produce and interact with each other and the environment. Even now there are biologists who study the possibilities of animals that will evolve in the future as well as those found on other planets. The word modern biology seems to be introduced separately between Gottfried Reinhold Treviranus and by Jean-Baptiste Lamarck. The word Biology itself was said to have been created in 1800 by Karl Friedrich Burdach, but it appears in the title of Volume 3 of the book Michael Christoph Hanov Philosophiae naturalis sive physicae dogmaticae: Geologia, biologia, phytologia generalis et dendrologia, published in 1766. Biologi/بيولوݢي adalah kajian saintifik mengenai hidup. Biologi mengkaji struktur, fungsi, pertumbuhan, asal, evolusi dan taburan benda hidup. Bidang ini mengelaskan dan menerangkan organisma, fungsi mereka, cara dan sebab spesies wujud, serta interaksi sesama mereka dan alam sekeliling. Biologi menumpukan kepada ciri-ciri fizikal dan tabiat hidupan yang hidup pada masa kini dan masa silam, bagaimana mereka terhasil dan interaksi antara sesama mereka dan alam sekitar. Malah kini terdapat ahli biologi yang mengkaji kemungkinan haiwan yang akan berevolusi pada masa akan datang dan juga yang terdapat di planet-planet yang lain. Perkataan biologi moden kelihatannya diperkenalkan secara terasing antara Gottfried Reinhold Treviranus dan oleh Jean-Baptiste Lamarck.
