The Court is the place where a person obtains justice under existing law. In Malaysia. The Federal Court is the supreme court and the final court to appeal. In this country the judicial system is divided into two, namely the high courts and the lower courts. Lower courts include court magistrates and sessions courts, while high courts are high courts in the Peninsular and Sabah and Sarawak as well as the Court of Appeal and the Federal Court. Mahkamah Persekutuan merupakan mahkamah tertinggi dan mahkamah terakhir untuk membuat rayuan. Di negara ini sistem kehakiman terbahagi kepada dua iaitu mahkamah tinggi dan mahkamah rendah. Mahkamah-mahkamah rendah termasuklah mahkamah majistret dan mahkamah sesyen, manakala yang tinggi adalah mahkamah tinggi di Semenanjung dan Sabah dan Sarawak serta Mahkamah Rayuan dan Mahkamah Persekutuan. Mahkamah Persekutuan pada awalnya dikenali sebagai Mahkamah Agung tetapi digantikan selepas 24 Jun, 1994. Sistem Kehakiman di Malaysia adalah melibatkan undang-undang sivil. Manakala Mahkamah Syariah pula akan mengadili perkara berkaitan dengan undang-undang Islam.
