Senoi

The Senoi people in Malaysia, inhabiting the Titiwangsa slope in the interior of Perak, Kelantan and Pahang, and is one of the Orang Asli in Malaysia. There are 6 tribes in the Senoi family of Cheong, Mahmeri, Jah Hut, Semoq Beri, Semai and Temiar. Senoi people are hunters and collectors who reportedly use clear dreams to keep them happy and mental health. The field study was done by Kilton Stewart before World War II and published in the early 1950s. Parapsychiologist Charles Tart and pedagogy George Burr Leonard then highlighted the picture of Stewart through the Esalen Institute book and rest center. The later researchers could not confirm the study of Stewart. In 1985 G. William Domhoff said that in The Mystique of Dreams that an anthropologist working with residents of Temiar / Senoi reported that they were familiar with the concept of clear dreams and it was not very important to them. Terdapat 6 suku kaum di dalam rumpun bangsa Senoi iaitu Che Wong, Mahmeri, Jah Hut, Semoq Beri, Semai dan Temiar. Orang-orang Senoi merupakan orang pemburu dan pengumpul yang dilaporkan menggunakan mimpi jelas bagi memastikan mereka kekal gembira dan kesihatan mental. Lapuran kajian lapangan yang dilakukan oleh Kilton Stewart sebelum Perang Dunia II dan diterbitkan pada awal 1950-an. Parapsykhologi Charles Tart dan pedagogi George Burr Leonard kemudian menonjolkan gambaran Stewart melalui buku dan pusat rehat Institute Esalen. Penyelidik terkemudian tidak dapat mengesahkan kajian Stewart. Pada 1985 G.
