Amyloplast

Amyloplast

Amyloplast - type of leucoplast producing and storing starch. They are formed directly from the proplastids. Under the influence of light they transform into chloroplasts. They occur in the cells of the storage organs, in the capsule root and in the meristematic cells in the form of one large grain or many small. Amyloplast – rodzaj leukoplastu wytwarzający i magazynujący skrobię. Powstają one bezpośrednio z proplastydów. Pod wpływem światła przekształcają się w chloroplasty. Występują w komórkach organów spichrzowych, w komórkach czapeczki korzenia i w komórkach merystematycznych w postaci jednego dużego ziarna lub wielu drobnych.
