Jig (muzyka)

Jig - a kind of folk song and dance from the Baroque period. Originates in Scotland, Ireland and England. In the later period he often performed in a stylized form, becoming the final part of the harpsichord. The jig forms are: ▪ Jig - a 6/8 meter, the most popular jig type and one of the most popular folk dance types in Ireland and Scotland, the melody usually consists of two pieces of eight bars, played with a repetition of each part, with an emphasis on 1 and 4 part of tact. • slip jig - a 9/8 meter, also called hop jig. Accents on 1, 4 and 7 parts of a stroke ▪ Single jig - 6/8 or 12/8 meter, whose characteristic feature is the following of long and short sound, which gives the impression of synkopy, usually danced by solo women. Accents as slide jig ▪ Slide - faster version of a single jig, dancers perform alternating short and long movements, according to the melody. This type of jiga is characteristic of Kerry County in the south west of Ireland .... Jig – rodzaj pieśni i tańca ludowego z okresu baroku. Wywodzi się z terenów Szkocji, Irlandii i Anglii. W okresie późniejszym często występował w formie stylizowanej, stając się końcową częścią suity klawesynowej. Spotykane formy jigów: ▪ podwójny jig – metrum 6/8, najpopularniejszy rodzaj jiga i jeden z najpopularniejszych typów tańca ludowego w Irlandii i Szkocji, melodia najczęściej składa się z dwóch części po osiem taktów, granych z powtórzeniem każdej części, z akcentem na 1 i 4 część taktu. ▪ slip jig – metrum 9/8, zwany również hop jigiem. Akcenty na 1, 4 i 7 część taktu ▪ jig pojedynczy – metrum 6/8 bądź 12/8, którego charakterystyczną cechą jest następowanie po sobie długiego i krótkiego dźwięku, co daje wrażenie synkopy, tańczony zazwyczaj przez kobiety solo. Akcenty jak w slip jigu ▪ slide - szybsza wersja pojedynczego jiga, tancerze wykonują naprzemiennie krótkie i długie ruchy, zgodnie z melodią. Ten rodzaj jiga jest charakterystyczny dla hrabstwa Kerry w południowo-zachodniej części Irlandii....
