Hemiplegia

Porażenie połowicze

Hemiplegia - hemiplegia - one-half muscle paralysis. It is caused by damage to the cortical core of the brain. Paresis occurs on the opposite side to the location of the lesion due to the intersection of cortical - cortical pathways - the path that begins in one hemisphere passes to the opposite side of the brainstem. If damage occurs in the inner bag of the brain, hemiplegia results in a characteristic form of paralysis of the Wernick-Mann type. If damage is in the left hemisphere, the right limbs will be inflamed. Partial hemorrhage is most commonly diagnosed by cerebral infarction, hemorrhage into the cranial cavity, and sometimes also by brain tumors.
