Makroekonomia
Macroeconomics - the field of economics using aggregate quantities to examine the regularities occurring in the economy as a whole. Macroeconomics is primarily concerned with the creation and distribution of national income, as well as issues related to inflation, unemployment, investment and balance of payments, including monetary policy of the central bank and economic policy. Macroeconomics examines the economy, both nationally and internationally, as the total dependency between the most important economic aggregates, such as the aggregate demand and supply of goods and services, average price levels, employment levels, consumption and investment, and state budget revenues and expenditures. Through this analysis, macroeconomics determines causal relationships between economic phenomena and predicts the development tendencies of the entire economic system. Makroekonomia – dziedzina ekonomii posługująca się wielkościami agregatowymi do badania prawidłowości występujących w gospodarce jako całości. Przedmiotem zainteresowania makroekonomii jest przede wszystkim tworzenie i podział dochodu narodowego, a także zagadnienia związane między innymi z inflacją, bezrobociem, inwestycjami i bilansem płatniczym, z uwzględnieniem polityki pieniężnej banku centralnego oraz polityki gospodarczej państwa. Makroekonomia bada gospodarkę, zarówno narodową jak i światową, jako ogół zależności, występujących między najważniejszymi agregatami gospodarczymi, takimi jak: łączny popyt i podaż produktów i usług, średni poziom cen, poziom zatrudnienia, wielkość konsumpcji i inwestycji, czy dochody i wydatki budżetu państwa. Poprzez taką analizę makroekonomia określa związki przyczynowo-skutkowe między zjawiskami gospodarczymi a także prognozuje tendencje rozwojowe całego systemu gospodarczego.
