Anasarca

Anasarca is a symptom characterized by a swelling distributed throughout the skin of the whole body due to fluid leakage into the extracellular space. It also includes ascites. Although in itself does not lead to death, the disease that the cause can kill. Some of the more serious diseases with this symptom include renal failure and liver failure that kill by not eliminating all the toxins from the human body and because the organs do not perform their functions properly. Hydrops is fetal anasarca. When the baby is already born swollen, including the head, since the skull has not yet closed, it is said to be with hydrops. The most common causes are maternal diseases such as DHEG and smoking, as well as infections in pregnancy such as rubella and toxoplasmosis. The treatment is very variable but usually are severe cases that require close monitoring and hospitalization. Anasarca é um sintoma caracterizado por um inchaço distribuído pela pele de todo corpo devido ao derrame de fluido no espaço extracelular. Inclui também ascite. Embora por si só não leve à morte, a doença que a causa pode matar. Algumas das doenças mais graves com este sintoma incluem falência renal e insuficiência hepática que matam por não eliminar todas as toxinas do corpo humano e porque os órgãos não realizam suas funções adequadamente. A hidropsia é a anasarca fetal. Quando o bebê já nasce edemaciado, inclusive a cabeça, já que o crânio ainda não fechou diz-se que está com hidropsia. As causas mais comuns são doenças maternas como a DHEG e o tabagismo, além de infecções na gestação como rubéola e toxoplasmose. O tratamento é muito variável mas geralmente são casos graves que necessitam de acompanhamento de perto e internação.
