Twilight

Crepuscular

Twilight is a term used to describe animals that are primarily active during dusk, that is, at dawn and dusk. The word is derived from the Latin crepusculum, which means "twilight." Twilight is then in contrast to daytime and nighttime behaviors. Crepuscular animals can also be active on a clear moon night. Many animals that are casually described as nocturnal are actually crepuscular. Within the definition of twilight are the morning and evening terms, denoting active species at dawn and dusk, respectively. References ^ a b Winn, Philip, Dictionary of Biological Psychology, Taylor \u0026 amp; Francis, p. 194, ISBN 0415136067 Wiktionary has crepuscular entry.
