Rabil

Rabil is a town located in the western center of Boa Vista Island in Cape Verde. It is integrated in the parish of Santa Isabel. Square in Rabil Nela inhabit many of the island's tourism workers as well as farmers. It has a pottery school, where pieces of handicrafts are made, such as jars, mosaics and small turtles. There are also some restaurants. It is bathed by the Ribeira do Rabil. In the immediate vicinity are Rabil International Airport, which serves the Boa Vista Island, and Praia de Chaves. Rabil é uma povoação situada no centro ocidental da Ilha da Boa Vista, em Cabo Verde. Encontra-se integrada na freguesia de Santa Isabel. Praça em Rabil Nela habitam muitos dos trabalhadores do turismo da ilha, assim como agricultores. Dispõe de uma escola de olaria, onde são feitas peças de artesanato, tais como jarros, mosaicos e pequenas tartarugas. Apresenta também alguns restaurantes. É banhada pela chamada Ribeira do Rabil. Nas suas imediações, situam-se o Aeroporto Internacional de Rabil, que serve a Ilha da Boa Vista, e a Praia de Chaves.
