Sarcoma

A sarcoma is a cancer / neoplasm that strikes mesoderm cells, in contrast to the more common cancers that reach the more superficial or inner part of the tissue. It can reach bone, cartilage, fat, muscle, blood vessels, or soft tissues. The term comes from the Greek term and means "fleshy growth". It is the types of cancer that make the most metastasis and therefore the most dangerous and difficult to treat.
