Авизо

Advice - in business, especially in banking practice - an official notice of the execution of a settlement or commodity transaction. An advice is sent from one counterparty to another. Banks notify their customers about the debit and credit records on accounts, about the balance of the account, about the payment of transfers, the issuance of a check, the opening of a letter of credit and other things. In business practice, with the help of notices-advice, counterparties additionally put the other side in notice of the actions performed with goods or other values. Often a direct advice is required for the issuance of a reverse advice that confirms the completion of a business transaction.

Ави́зо — в деловой, особенно в банковской практике — официальное извещение об исполнении расчётной или товарной операции. Авизо отсылается от одного контрагента к другому. Банки уведомляют с помощью авизо своих клиентов о дебетовых и кредитовых записях по счетам, об остатке средств на счёте, о выплате переводов, выставлении чека, открытии аккредитива и прочего. В деловой практике с помощью извещений-авизо контрагенты дополнительно ставят другую сторону в известность о произведённых действиях с товарами или другими ценностями. Часто на прямое авизо требуется оформление обратного авизо, подтверждающего завершение деловой операции.
