Santur

Santur, is an instrument of Iraq, Iran and India. In the form of a trapezoid, a classic santur, usually in the form of a box made of walnut and other exotic trees, consists of 72 to 160 bevels. It is stolen by hitting with a small hammer made again by the maestro. This figure is also referred to as cordophone for musical instruments which carry both stringed instruments and percussive instruments. The instrument, a Kitara type, is formally similar to blood.

Santur, , Irak, İran ve Hindistan kökenli bir çalgıdır. Yamuk şeklinde genellikle ceviz ve benzeri egzotik ağaçlardan yapılan bir kutu şeklinde olan klasik bir santur, 72 ila 160 telden oluşur. Bu teller üzerine, yine ahşaptan yapılan küçük çekiçlerle vurma yoluyla çalınmaktadır. Bu şekil hem telli çalgı hem de vurmali çalgı niteliği taşıyan muzik aletlerine kordofon adı da verilmektedir. Bir Kitara türü olan enstrüman, biçimsel olarak kanuna benzer.
