Definition of металоїд in the Ukrainian dictionary
metaloid, u, h., zast. An outdated, inaccurate, name of a simple substance of non-metallic nature; non-metal. Comparison of the properties of chemical elements from a long time led to their division into two large groups - metals and nonmetals, or metaloids (U. Chemistry, 1955, 76).
