The superstructure is a concept of Marxist philosophy. In the Marxist philosophy, the superstructure refers to the sum of the social ideologies based on certain economic bases and the corresponding political and legal systems and facilities. In the class society, the political legal system and facilities are an important part of the superstructure, usually referred to as the political superstructure.
