El ATA paralelo, originalmente AT Attachment, es un estándar de interfaz para la conexión de dispositivos de almacenamiento como discos duros, unidades de disquete y unidades de disco óptico en computadoras. La norma es mantenida por el comité X3 / INCITS. Utiliza los estándares subyacentes de AT Attachment y AT Attachment Packet Interface. El estándar ATA paralelo es el resultado de una larga historia de desarrollo técnico incremental, que comenzó con la interfaz AT Attachment original, desarrollada para su uso en equipos PC AT tempranos.
