Système de cristal de Tetragonal
En cristallographie, le système de cristaux tétragonaux est l'un des 7 groupes de points de réseau. Les réseaux de cristal tétragonaux résultent de l'étirement d'un réseau cubique le long de l'un de ses vecteurs en treillis, de sorte que le cube devient un prisme rectangulaire avec une base et une hauteur carrées. Il existe deux types de structures de cristaux tétragonaux. Treillis Bravais: le simple tétragon et le centre tétragonal. On pourrait supposer que l'étirement de la cube centrée sur le visage aboutirait à une tétradionale centrée sur le visage, mais le centre de la face est équivalent à Tetragonal centré sur le corps, BCT. La BCT est considérée comme plus fondamentale, donc c'est la terminologie standard.
