एक लिपटनेवाली लता
जिसकी जडे गँठीली होती हैं ।
विशेष—इसकी पत्तियाँ एक बालिश्त के सींकों में लगती हैं और
पतझड में झड जाती हैं । चैत, बैशाख में यह बैल घनी मंजरी के रूप में फूलती है । यह बैल बुंदेलखंड तथा उत्तरीय भारत के कई भागों में मिलती है । बिलाईकंद इसी की जड है ।
इसे सुराल और सरवाला भी कहते हैं ।
