I pesci con quattro occhi sono un genere, Anableps, di pesci nella famiglia Anablepidae. Hanno occhi sollevati sopra la testa e divisi in due parti diverse, in modo che possano vedere al di sotto e al di sopra della superficie dell'acqua contemporaneamente. Come i loro parenti, i vivaci bestiali, i pesci a quattro occhi si accoppiano solo da un lato, a destra "hanno consegnato" i maschi con le femmine a sinistra e viceversa. Questi pesci abitano acqua dolce e salmastra e sono solo raramente marina costiera. Provengono dalle pianure del Messico meridionale ad Honduras e nel sud del Sud America.
