La Schutzstaffel (pronuncia tedesca: (ascolta), tradotta in Protection Squadron o Corpo di difesa, abbreviata SS o con stilizzate "Armanen" sig runes) è stata un'importante organizzazione paramilitare sotto Adolf Hitler e il Partito Nazista (NSDAP).
