कामगिरी निर्देशक
कामगिरी निर्देशक किंवा की कामगिरी निर्देशक कार्यक्षमता मोजमाप प्रकार आहे. एखादी संस्था यशस्वीरीत्या मूल्यांकन करण्यासाठी केपीआई वापरू शकते किंवा एका विशिष्ट क्रियाकलापच्या यशाने त्याचे मूल्यांकन करू शकते. कधीकधी यश यशस्वीरित्या धोरणात्मक ध्येय दिशेने प्रगती करत दृष्टीने परिभाषित केले आहे, परंतु अनेकदा यश फक्त काही, ऑपरेशनल गोल काही स्तर नियमित यश आहे. त्यानुसार, योग्य केपीआई निवडणे संस्थेसाठी काय महत्वाचे आहे याची चांगल्या प्रकारे समजण्यावर अवलंबून आहे. 'काय महत्वाचे आहे' हे सहसा कार्यावर मोजण्याच्यावर अवलंबून असते - उदा. वित्तव्यवस्थेसाठी उपयोगी असलेले KPIs विक्रीस लागू असलेल्या केपीआई कडून बरेच वेगळे असतील. महत्त्वाचे काय आहे हे समजून घेणे आवश्यक असल्याने, व्यवसायाच्या वर्तमान स्थितीचे मूल्यांकन करण्यासाठी विविध तंत्र आणि त्याची मुख्य क्रियाकलाप, कार्यप्रदर्शन निर्देशकांच्या निवडीशी निगडित आहेत. हे मूल्यांकन अनेकदा संभाव्य सुधारणा ओळखण्याची कारणीभूत होतात, त्यामुळे कामगिरी निर्देशक नियमितपणे 'परफॉर्मंस सुधारणा' उपक्रमांशी संबद्ध असतात. KPIs निवडण्याचा एक सामान्य मार्ग म्हणजे संतुलित स्कोअरकार्ड सारख्या व्यवस्थापन आराखडा अर्ज करणे.
