Cotillion adalah sejenis tarian sosial berpola yang berasal dari Perancis pada abad ke-18. Ia pada asalnya terdiri daripada empat pasangan dalam pembentukan persegi, pelopor quadrille; di Amerika Syarikat tarian persegi, di mana "tokoh" dipanggil dengan kuat oleh pemanggil, adalah bentuk kontrakan luar bandar yang juga berasal dari pusat kota.
