Sprawa równoważna
Equative jest sprawą w sensie porównania lub porównywania. Sprawa równoważna została wykorzystana w bardzo niewielu językach w historii. To było używane w języku sumeryjskim. Dla sumeryjskiego równanie zostało utworzone przez dodanie przyrostka -gg7 do końca frazy rzeczownika: lugal, "król"; lugal-gin7, "królewski", "jak król": nitah-kalaga; "potężny człowiek"; nitah-kalaga-gin7, "jak potężny człowiek" Dla Osetyka jest on ukształtowany przez końcówkę - фæт, "arrow"; фæтау, "arrowlike" Ницы фенæгау йæхи акодта, lit. "nie podobny sam jak się". Znajduje się także w języku tureckim Khalaj i językach Ameryki Południowej, takich jak Quechua, Aymara, Uro i Cholón. Walijski, choć nie ma równoważnego przypadku rzeczowników, ma równoważny stopień przymiotników. Sireniki Eskimo miał podobną sprawę do opisywania podobieństw między rzeczownikami. Fiński ma pochodne suffixes -anden i -lainen, które mają to samo znaczenie, ale tworzą nowe słowa, a nie funkcjonują jako przyrostki gramatyczne. Na przykład kuningas ~ kuningasmainen "king ~ kinglike".
