Scrum (rugby)

Kontrola jest sposobem ponownego grania w piłkę nożną rugby. W zależności od tego, czy jest w rugby union czy rugby league, scrum jest wykorzystywane albo po przypadkowym naruszeniu czy po wyeliminowaniu piłki. Scrumy występują częściej i mają większe znaczenie w unii niż w lidze. Rozpoczęcie gry z linii walki w piłce nożnej siatki pochodzi z scrum. W obu dyscyplinach tworzone są walki graczy, którzy zostali wyznaczeni do przodu w trzech rzędach. Kontrola następnie "angażuje" się z zespołem opozycyjnym, tak aby głowice gracza były zablokowane z pierwszym rzędzie z boku.
