Copyright

O direito autoral é um conceito legal, promulgado pela maioria dos governos, que concede ao criador de uma obra original os direitos exclusivos sobre seu uso e distribuição, geralmente por um tempo limitado, com a intenção de permitir que o criador de riqueza intelectual receba compensação por seu trabalho e ser capaz de se apoiar financeiramente. O copyright é uma forma de propriedade intelectual, aplicável a qualquer forma expressável de uma idéia ou informação que seja substantiva e discreta. Muitas vezes é compartilhado, então os detentores de porcentagem são comumente chamados de titulares de direitos: legal, contratualmente e em funções comerciais "de direitos" associadas. Geralmente, os titulares de direitos têm "o direito de copiar", mas também o direito de ser creditado pelo trabalho, para determinar quem pode adaptar o trabalho a outros formulários, quem pode realizar o trabalho, quem pode se beneficiar financeiramente e outros direitos conexos. Copyright is a legal concept, enacted by most governments, that grants the creator of an original work exclusive rights to its use and distribution, usually for a limited time, with the intention of enabling the creator of intellectual wealth to receive compensation for their work and be able to financially support themselves. Copyright is a form of intellectual property, applicable to any expressible form of an idea or information that is substantive and discrete. It is often shared, then percentage holders are commonly called rightsholders: legally, contractually and in associated "rights" business functions. Generally rightsholders have "the right to copy", but also the right to be credited for the work, to determine who may adapt the work to other forms, who may perform the work, who may financially benefit from it, and other related rights. Copyright initially was conceived as a way for government to restrict printing; the contemporary intent of copyright is to promote the creation of new works by giving authors control of and profit from them.
