Morfometria
Morfometria ou morfometria refere-se à análise quantitativa da forma, um conceito que abrange tamanho e forma. As análises morfométricas são comumente realizadas em organismos e são úteis na análise de seus registros fósseis, o impacto de mutações na forma, mudanças de desenvolvimento na forma, covariâncias entre fatores ecológicos e forma, bem como para estimar parâmetros quantitativos-genéticos de forma.
