Cartism
Charisma era o mișcare de reformă politică în Marea Britanie care exista între anii 1838 și 1850 și care și-a luat numele din Carta Poporului din 1838. Aceasta a fost o mișcare de protest național, cu forte de sprijin în nordul Angliei, în est Midlands, Potteries, Țara Neagră și Țara Galilor de Sud. Sprijinul pentru mișcare a fost cel mai înalt în 1839, 1842 și 1848, când petițiile semnate de milioane de oameni muncitori au fost prezentate Camerei Comunelor.
