Inkerman este un oraș din peninsula Crimeei, care este în prezent supus unei dispute teritoriale între Federația Rusă și Ucraina. Se află la 5 kilometri est de Sevastopol, la gura râului Cernaya, care se varsă în Golful Sevastopol. Administrativ, Inkerman este subordonat municipalității Sevastopol care nu face parte din Republica Autonomă Crimeea. Inkerman se spune că înseamnă o "cetate de peșteră" în limba turcă. În timpul epocii sovietice era cunoscută sub numele de Bilokamiansk sau Belokamensk, care înseamnă literalmente "White Stone City", ca o referință la piatra albă moale carată în zonă și folosită în mod obișnuit pentru construcții, dar de atunci a fost returnată numele pre-sovietic.
