Versiunea revizuită a Bibliei este o revizuire britanică din secolul al XIX-lea a versiunii King James Version din 1611. A fost prima și rămâne singura revizuire oficială autorizată și recunoscută a Bibliei regelui James. Lucrarea a fost încredințată peste 50 de oameni de știință din diferite denominațiuni din Marea Britanie. Cercetătorii americani au fost invitați să coopereze, prin corespondență. Noul Testament a fost publicat în 1881, Vechiul Testament în 1885 și Apocrifele în 1894. Cea mai cunoscută dintre membrii comisiei de traducere au fost Brooke Foss Westcott și Fenton John Anthony Hort; Criticul cel mai înflăcărat al acelei perioade era John William Burgon.
