Căile de semnalizare Wnt sunt un grup de căi de transducție a semnalului realizate din proteine care transmit semnale din afara unei celule prin intermediul receptorilor de suprafață celulară către interiorul celulei. Trei căi de semnalizare Wnt au fost caracterizate: calea canntală Wnt, calea noncanonică plană a polarității celulare și calea necanonică Wnt / calciu. Toate cele trei căi de semnalizare Wnt sunt activate prin legarea unui ligand de proteină Wnt la un receptor de familie Frizzled, care transmite semnalul biologic proteinei dezlipite în interiorul celulei. Calea Wnt canonică conduce la reglarea transcripției genetice, calea noncanonică plană a polarității celulare reglează citoscheletul care este responsabil pentru forma celulei, iar calea non-canonic Wnt / calciu reglează calciul din interiorul celulei. Căile de semnalizare Wnt utilizează fie comunicații celulare-celulare din apropiere, fie comunicații de aceleași celule. Ele sunt foarte conservate din punct de vedere evoluțional, ceea ce înseamnă că ele sunt asemănătoare în multe specii, de la fructe cu muștele la oameni. Semnalarea Wnt a fost identificată pentru rolul său în carcinogeneză, dar a fost recunoscută pentru funcția sa în dezvoltarea embrionară.
