Tuğla
Tuğla işçiliği, bir tuğla yapımcısı tarafından tuğla ve harç kullanılarak üretilen duvarcılıktır. Tipik olarak, tuğlalar sıraları - kurslar denir - tuğla duvar gibi bir yapı oluşturmak üzere birbirinin üstüne yerleştirilir. Tuğla, binalar inşa etmek için popüler bir araçtır ve tuğla örneği örnekleri Tunç Çağı kadar tarihin hemen gerisinde bulunmaktadır. Irak'ta eski Dur-Kurigalzu zigguratının ateşe tuğla yüzleri M.Ö. 1400 yıllarına aittir ve Pakistan'daki eski Mohenjo-daro tuğla binaları M.Ö. 2600 yıllarında inşa edilmiştir. Kuru tuğlalarla yapılmış çok eski tuğla örneği Batı Şeria'daki Jericho, Anadolu'daki Çatal Hüyük ve Pakistan'daki Mehrgarh gibi eski yerleşim yerlerinde bulunabilir. Bu yapılar Taş Devri'nden günümüze kadar varlığını sürdürmüştür.
