Maliyet etkinliği analizi, iki veya daha fazla eylem kursunun göreli maliyetlerini ve sonuçlarını karşılaştıran bir ekonomik analiz biçimidir. Maliyet etkinliği analizi, etki ölçüsüne parasal bir değer atayan maliyet-fayda analizinden farklıdır. Maliyet etkinliği analizi, genellikle sağlık hizmetlerinden, sağlık etkisinden para kazanmanın uygun olmayabileceği alanlarda kullanılır.
