Bir hanedan, aynı ailenin üyeleri olarak düşünülen bir yönetici dizisidir. Tarihçiler, geleneksel olarak birçok egemen devletlerin tarihini, örneğin Antik Mısır, Pers İmparatorluğu ve İmparatorluk Çin gibi birbiri ardına hanedanlar çerçevesinde değerlendirir.
