Polyene
Polenler, bir veya daha fazla çift ve tek karbon-karbon bağ dizgisini içeren poli-doymamış organik bileşiklerdir. Bu çift karbon-karbon bağları, konjügasyon olarak bilinen ve molekülün genel olarak daha düşük bir enerji durumu ile sonuçlanan bir süreçte etkileşime girer.
