Shinto ya da kannagara-no-michi - Japon mitolojisine dayanan, çok tanrılı ve çeşitli ifadeler ve kültlerle karakterize geleneksel bir Japon dini. Shinto inançlarının ortak kanun, organizasyon veya kutsal kitapları yoktur. Kannagara-no-michi deyimi, shinto ve "tanrıların yolu" için eşanlamlı olarak yazılmış, ancak uzman yayınlara göre "tanrıların iradesine uygun" demektir. O diğerleri yanında kullanıldı. mezhep in ortodoks tapınağını mezhepsel ve popüler inançlardan ayırt etmek. Shintō'nun merkezi, kami tanrılarıdır.

Shintō lub kannagara-no-michi – tradycyjna religia Japonii oparta na mitologii japońskiej, charakteryzująca się politeizmem oraz różnorodnością przejawów i kultów. Zwrot kannagara-no-michi jest słownikowo przedstawiany jako synonim shintō i „drogi bogów”, ale według wydawnictw specjalistycznych oznacza „w zgodzie z wolą bogów”. Był używany m.in. w celu odróżnienia ortodoksyjnego shintō świątynnego od sekciarskiego i wierzeń popularnych. Centralnym dla shintō pojęciem są bóstwa kami.
