У радіообладнанні Automatic Frequency Control, також називається Automatic Fine Tuning, - це метод або ланцюг для автоматичного збереження резонансної схеми, налаштованої на частоту вхідного радіосигналу. Це, перш за все, використовується в радіоприймачах, щоб пристрій було налаштовано на частоту потрібної станції. У радіокомуненні AFC необхідний, оскільки після того, як частота смуги частот приймача настроєна на частоту передавача, дві частоти можуть віддалятися, перериваючи прийом. Це може бути викликано слабко контрольованою частотою передавача, але найпоширенішою причиною є дрейф центральної смуги пропускання частоти приймача через теплове або механічне дрейф у значеннях електронних компонентів. Якщо припустити, що приймач майже налаштовується до потрібної частоти, то ланцюг АФК у приймачі формує напругу похибки, пропорційну ступеню, з яким приймач міститься.
