Галаха
Галаха або Холохо є колективним тілом єврейських релігійних законів, отриманих від Письменної та Усні Тори. Вона включає 613 міцвот, наступний талмудичний і раввінський закон і звичаї та традиції, складені в Шульчанському Аручі. Іудаїзм класично не відрізняє своїх законів між релігійним та нерелігійним життям; Єврейська релігійна традиція чітко не відрізняє релігійну, національну, расову чи етнічну ідентичність. Галаха керує не тільки релігійними практиками та віруваннями, але і численними аспектами повсякденного життя. Халаха часто перекладається як "єврейський закон", хоча більш буквальний переклад може бути "шлях" або "спосіб ходити". Слово походить від кореня, це означає ходити або ходити. Історично склалося так, що в діаспорі галаха служила багатьом єврейським громадам як законний закон цивільного і релігійного права. З епохи епохи Просвітництва, емансипації та аскала в сучасній епосі єврейські громадяни зобов'язані до галак тільки за їх добровільною згодою.
