স্বীকৃতি একটি প্রক্রিয়া যেখানে যোগ্যতা, কর্তৃত্ব বা বিশ্বাসযোগ্যতার সার্টিফিকেশন উপস্থাপন করা হয়। সংগঠন যা প্রমাণপত্রাদি প্রকাশ করে বা আনুষ্ঠানিক মানদণ্ডের বিরুদ্ধে তৃতীয় পক্ষকে প্রত্যয়িত করে তাদের স্বীকৃতি সংস্থা কর্তৃক আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে স্বীকৃত হয়; তাই তারা কখনও কখনও "স্বীকৃত সার্টিফিকেশন সংস্থা" হিসাবে পরিচিত হয়। স্বীকৃতি প্রক্রিয়া নিশ্চিত করে যে তাদের সার্টিফিকেশন চর্চাগুলি গ্রহণযোগ্য, সাধারণত তারা পরীক্ষায় এবং তৃতীয় পক্ষকে প্রত্যয়িত করতে সক্ষম, নৈতিকভাবে আচরণ করে এবং উপযুক্ত গুণগত মান নিশ্চিত করার জন্য উপযুক্ত।
