Ambulacral
আম্বালাক্রাল একটি শব্দ সাধারণত phylum Echinodermata বা বর্গ Asteroidea এবং Edrioasteroidea এর শারীরিক অংশ প্রসঙ্গে ব্যবহৃত হয়। ইকিনোডার্মে অ্যাম্বুলাক্রাল অংশ থাকতে পারে যার মধ্যে রয়েছে ossicles, প্লেট, কাঁটাচামচ এবং ছোঁয়া। উদাহরণস্বরূপ, সমুদ্র তারকা বা "তারকা মাছ" তাদের মৌখিক দিকে একটি ambulacral খাঁজ আছে। এই ambulacral খাঁজ মুখ থেকে প্রতিটি রে বা আর্ম শেষ পর্যন্ত প্রসারিত। প্রতি বাহুটির প্রত্যেকটি খাঁজে চারটি সারি রয়েছে যা কোঁচানো পাদদেশে প্রসারিত বা প্রত্যাহার করা যায়। অ্যাম্বুল্যাক্রাল গ্রুভের বিপরীতে প্রতিটি রশ্মির অশুভ দিকের একটি অ্যাম্বুল্র্রাল রিজ হয়, এটি একটি অ্যাম্বুলাক্রাম নামে পরিচিত। এই তাদের মধ্যে interambulacra আছে।
